While I was setting up I noticed she was lost in time...and decided to just capture these subtle poses.

I guess you shutterchance Peeps can tell  by now that I am not really a big fan of Studio Portraits sessions, I actually prefer to do outdoor Photography. The natural environment lends its own unique character that helps to compliment the shoot.

DON'T WORRY I WILL PUT UP A fULL COLOUR VERSION SOON.

I like the composition. Great depth of field, tones, everything.
Love the conversion!!!and how her dress contrasts with the grass, like straight lines vs curves!! grey vs black & white, very nicely done

Very pretty shot and very pretty subject (model and background) and I love this image just the way you have it in this soft black & white - no need to have a color version in my humble opinion, though I am looking forward to seeing the color version. I wonder, during your portrait session, did you try framing this scene with her on the right and the landscape more in front of her and in the direction in which she is looking - in other words, putting her in the right bottom third of the frame?

Great image. Pretty model looks very at ease in the field.

very good shot...i especially like the open space to her left. It creates an air of expectancy.

I agree with you about portraits in studio...this is a great combo of portrait and nature and far nicer than any studio shot
